A visit by Josie Cichockyj - Great Britain Paralympian

Lesson: Physical education

Josie Cichockyj is a British Paralympian. She represented Great Britain in the 1988 Paralympics in Seoul, South Korea, and the 1996 Paralympics in Atlanta, USA. In addition to this she has held every athletics track British record, has won the London marathon (1989) and has represented her country at Tennis and Table Tennis.

Josie visited our school and spent time in all classes working with our children. The aim of the sessions was to show the children the power of determination and also raise awareness of disability.
